Note: HealthPeak is not a medical device. We do not collect or process Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA.

• Provide and improve our AI-powered research translation services
• Personalize responses based on your literacy level and preferences
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance the platform

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 We DO NOT Sell Your Data

HealthPeak never sells, rents, or trades your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4.2 Service Providers

We use service providers to run the platform. They process information only to provide the service HealthPeak asked them for.

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
• Mistral AI (France) generates coach replies. The text of the messages you send in chat is transmitted to Mistral AI for that purpose. Safety checks run on HealthPeak before that call. Embeddings, your saved coaching state, and the safety layer stay on HealthPeak's own systems.
• Analytics services (to understand usage patterns)

4.3 Legal Requirements

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you agree when you sign up, the text of your coach conversations is kept for 90 days after your last conversation and is then deleted. Each new conversation starts that 90 days again. If you decline, conversation text is not stored. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal compliance.

8. International Data Transfers

HealthPeak BV is based in Friesland, the Netherlands. If you access our services from outside the European Union, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws. By using HealthPeak, you consent to such transfers.

9. Children's Privacy

HealthPeak is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a prominent notice on our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
